I’m developing a photographic series with the title "The Lessening Edge”. The project features landscapes where human subjects are reduced to specks — yet somehow despite this, or perhaps because of it, their humanity and toil seem magnified.
I’m currently looking for funding to develop the series further, with the intention of travelling the length and breadth of the UK and Ireland to shoot at their most expansive and rugged environments.
My second photo series in development is titled “Gosperland” and is a sister project to “The Lessening Edge”. I’m exploring abandoned/closed/dilapidated spaces in the UK and possibly beyond. Currently I’m building an itinerary based on web searches but of course these places can often have been renovated or demolished. Updates here as they happen.
My work, “Essica 3” was recently selected to exhibit at Loosenart’s Blurred Visions exhibition at Millepiani, Rome. Very proud to be shown amongst some exceptional work by artists like Andrii Bulavka, Kate Carpenter and Konrad Hellfeuer.
